Insulation Materials

Water, heat and sound insulation is an important issue in buildings. Materials used for this purpose include glass wool, rock wool, polystyrene, polyurethane, roofing sheets, waterproofing materials, sound insulation panels and similar materials.

Glass wool and rock wool are frequently preferred materials for thermal insulation. These materials are resistant to high temperatures and fire. Polystyrene and polyurethane are generally used for thermal insulation on walls and ceilings. The fact that these materials can be shaped easily facilitates the insulation process.

Waterproofing materials, roofing sheets and similar products are used for waterproofing. These materials play an important role in waterproofing roofs and terraces, and in preventing water leaks in bathrooms and kitchens.

Special sound insulation panels are used for sound insulation. These panels are used on walls and ceilings, reducing indoor noise. These materials, which are frequently preferred in concert halls, movie theaters, theatres, recording studios and similar places, provide high performance sound insulation.

Insulation materials are important to ensure that structures are comfortable and healthy. Controlling temperature and humidity, preventing water leaks and reducing noise extends the life of buildings and makes living spaces more comfortable.
